  I was baker acted 5 years ago & this is the worst most traumatic place I have ever been. they strip search you. the showers are scolding hot so it’s impossible to take a shower. they give u sweat pants & a sweatshirt. you can’t gk outside. the windows don’t permit you to see outside. if you talk while at the table you went to another table to where you are isolated. the food is worse than school cafeteria food & im a picky eater so they said i was starving myself even though they had crackers & i asked for them but no one would let me have them. they yelled at me for crying & sent me to my room which was the size of a small master bathroom just containing a 2 platforms with a 4 inch mattress. no sheets just a pillow & blanket. you had to sleep with the light on. i called my mom balling because i was so angry so i was swearing (which i never do in front of my mom) & they threatened to take away my phone privileges. you watch movies from the early 90’s about substance abuse in a room with hard plastic chairs. you get in trouble if you speak. seeing people rate this facility more than one star infuriates me. luckily i have a great mom & she made it there after the night i called crying & swearing & made it to where i could go to another hospital.

  My grandmother has been sent here for needed help, and they have put her on medication there. She was sent to the hospital next door, they did no release any of her medical information to the hospital. They refuse to write her a prescription for an antipsychotic they put her on, not give the neighboring hospital her prescription. They also “lost” all her clothing she had in the facility and didn’t give her any to go the hospital with (She’s been in the hospital for 4 days now). When you call and ask about a patient they say they don’t know and hang up on you. We live an hour away and drove up to the facility to find something out after she was admitted and they knew nothing. And when we visited her she, along with every patient around us, were completely drugged up. She wasn’t even her normal self, complete unaware of her surroundings. Would not suggest this place to anyone, do not take anyone you care about here.

  You know, reading all of these reviews from my peers. It makes me wonder, if we could just get rid of this place. But alas, we cant. So ill write this review. A friend of mine in the facility told the doctor they were being abused, and the doctor said she had lied. Theres a lot of horror movies about asylums, mental hospitals, etc. This is the only one that should be featured in any horror movie. The ones in the movies currently look like heaven to me after this place.
