  Had all 3 of our kids here. Unbelievable treatment and all nurses are great and responsive even to dads. Wouldn’t have a baby anywhere else.

  My very skilled, very competent doctor/surgeon unfortunately admits to this hospital. I arrived at 5:30 AM for an outpatient procedure at 7:30 AM. I made it through admissions and was taken upstairs to be told computers were down and everything was being done with paper. As I am waiting, a doctor is loudly telling other doctors about his wife calling him regarding his son's shoes and how he asked why she wanted to stress him out as he is just about to cut his patient open. I asked the nurse attending me if she was hearing that too, because it is not making us waiting for surgery feel very comfortable. She says she has and goes to ask lead nurse what to do. The doctor moved his conversation out of the ward. I made it into the surgical room, and overheared my doctor tell staff he was only given one light he requested. I wake up in post-op at 8:30AM and speak to the doctor. Everything fine, waiting on blood work to clear me to go home. 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 computers still down so no labs NOTHING to do but listen to children and adults moan, scream, and vomit as they wake up from surgery, because husband has bag in waiting room. Finally offered something to drink and complain. Head nurse asks what is wrong. I complain and am moved to another area. One nurse was told to help me get dressed and gets bag from husband. The other nurse was sent down to the lab for lab work which she should have done two hours previous since computers were still down and hospital has no runners for paperwork. Nurse that was asked to help me get dressed starts cleaning ward, and then forgets. I reach over and get bag as three male hospital staff shield their eyes walking by because nurse working across from my bed on paperwork won't close the curtains despite my protest. Nurse comes back with labs. Nurse who wouldn't close the curtain curtly fills out discharge. Head nurse tells me what not to do after surgery. Assistant who was asked to dress me refuses to get wheel chair, then does so at head nurses request. My husband starts to push me out and the assistant is told to push me. She reaches the exit doors and leans over next to my ear. She pops a bubble from the gum she was chewing loudly all the way down the elevator and lifts the back of the chair to make me stand and pushes the chair into the back of my legs. Then she turns the chair and flips her hair at me as I looked back. This hospital has some SERIOUS issues. Beware if your doctor admits there!
